Dry thunderstorms swept through and started this fire near Tehachapi, California. Brilliant work by firefighters from several counties. During this shoot, we were hit by violent winds. Violent enough that we retreated in to the truck bed under a shell. Dust permeated everything.The truck just shook. These had to be downbursts from the thundercells nearby.
