If you have followed this blog for a couple years you know I have a few friends in music. LA has this great scene. Anyway from Crossed Keys to Juke Kartel to Paperback Hero I shot concerts. Brian Hopkins of Paperback Hero fame has a band called  Elvis Monroe. 

Universal Studios has a brand new outdoor stage that is state of the art. It features LED lighting that makes the band look good but makes photography very difficult as the band members are often in shadow. But all those LED's on the back made for some interesting zoom blur effects.
