Steel Challenge Side Match Photography

Truly accurate ultra high speed shooting calls for a camera at least as fast as the shooters. Note not one, not two but three empty brass cartridges in the air. He was getting four tp five aimed shots off in about 1.1 or 1.2 seconds! I think that is Mark Eisenstein at the trigger. The winner won a Sig Sauer 226.
The World Speed Shooting Championship
Some images of the fun we had working for Sig Sauer at their side match "The Gauntlet". This includes the surprise visit by Smiling Siggy, the smiling target. Siggy showed up as I shot this non lead ammunition. I shot one low which split on the rail, spraying copper in to the smile. Two carefully aimed shots later we had eyes and on great shot by a competitior ensured he had a nose.
