Laughing Dragon
I've been playing with fire again...
Or was it just me? Does that nott look like a dragon laying back, getting a good belly laugh? The eye does play tricks.

This was really a very bright natural gas flame from a furnace. The actual height is about eight feet. I got myself and the camera within 3 feet, so I could take advantage of the 1/6000 shutter speed my 40D offers. The thing is the detail a fast shutter gets out of flame. My apeture was 5.0 and ISO 200
I have hundreds of these shots from today.
