CS2 Edit

A bit of crop and saturation, a dash of sharpening.

What the megapixels do

Just to show the power of ten mega pixels, or sometimes called "digital zoom" I'm showing a flower and bee shot I got today with a digital zoom of a part of the bug. The D30 could not have done this like this!

The shot is very warm for good reason-late light (3:30pm December 2nd) and a yellow subject. The details -Focal length 300 (x1.6) F5.6- 1/664 of a second. ISO 100. Apart from the raw conversuion and crop, they are unedited.
The first image from the new 40D. My cat pepper is the first available subject. This image carried an original size of 54 inches! I cropped and shrunk this image. Shot atb 1/64 F5.7 but it was underexposed. Adjusted in CS2.Then we have our first example of a cat faster than a good photographer with very fast camera-1/8000th of a second at six frames per second...

The cat leaps and you get this at perfect exposure, correct color temperature, crisp focus and two legs. Nice try Kevin, the cat is faster than the eye!
